There are multiple options for co-working spaces in London, so Work & Play were having difficulties standing out in the market. They were basing their branding ideas around current players in the market and trying to emulate what they did.
Since they had not even had their office space built, it was difficult to get imagery for the website and get a feel for the brand. They had further issues working out how to make their brand attractive local audience in Finsbury Park, while also bringing in other Londoners to help boost brand awareness.
After finally getting to the bottom of what Work & Play genuinely wanted for their brand, we realised that they didn’t want to be seen as a “co-working space”, but a fantastic place for the local community in Finsbury Park. Therefore, they needed a brand that was welcoming and friendly, but with a strong focus on wellness.
We used a playful font, combined with a green accent colour and strong imagery of the target audience. We were able to use a combination of stock imagery and CGI to showcase what the office would look like.
To help drive sales, we created a landing page for Google Ads that was directly linked to their calendar for people to book in free trials. We also integrated a full booking system with Nexedus software, similar to the solution for Fora Space.
